About NewCircle

A team that actually knows you

We’re licensed therapists, dietitians, medical providers, and coaches who also happen to be real people who care about the humans in front of us. We listen first. We take the whole person seriously. That’s not a philosophy statement. It’s just how we practice.

A personal path to recovery

NewCircle was built on the belief that people heal better when they feel like themselves in treatment. So we made room for that. You’ll see it in the way we practice, the programming we offer, and the community we’ve built around it. Clinical rigor and real human warmth aren’t tradeoffs here. They’re the whole point.

Meet the team

Healing happens in relationship, and the strength of our team reflects the strength of our mission.

Members of NewCircle bring clinical expertise, lived compassion, and a deep commitment to walking alongside you in recovery. We are not just providers—we’re listeners, advocates, and fellow humans who believe in your capacity to heal.

Our treatment levels

Recovery looks different for everyone. That’s why we offer multiple levels of care, each designed to meet you exactly where you are.

Residential Treatment

For individuals who need a higher level of support, our Residential program offers 24/7 care in a warm, home-like setting designed for healing.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

A bridge between full-time care and daily life. PHP runs five to six days a week. Full days of therapy, meal support, and skill-building with evenings at home. Housing available where clinically appropriate.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

For those ready to integrate recovery into daily life, IOP offers structured, flexible support across four days a week, so you can maintain work, school, or family commitments while staying connected to care.

NewCircle Reviews

“After my whole life of never being sure I could get help, this place blew me out of the water. I have fully graduated out of the program and my life is forever changed. All of the staff are amazing individuals who are there to really change lives. The facility is beautiful and has so many amazing qualities that it would take me pages to describe them. If you need help, I HIGHLY recommend here!”

“New Circle really did change my life for the better. I completed two months of Res and a month of PHP. The RC’s (especially Timmy) are fantastic and wonderful. Larry is the best intake coordinator in the WORLD (so kind and communicative!). The clinicians helped me work through so many struggles and to build a support system at home. This treatment program is SO individualized; it is able to meet the needs of so many individuals. There are so many things I could say, so I will leave it on this note…. If you are considering coming to New Circle, yes. Come, without a doubt. I am in a larger body, and that did not negatively impact my treatment whatsoever. I felt very accepted by staff. After struggling with my eating disorder from early childhood into adulthood, I’m finally able to see a life for myself without bulimia.”

Frequently asked questions

For families, clients, and referring providers who want to understand who we are before they reach out.

Is NewCircle accredited?

Yes — and we’re proud of it. NewCircle earned the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for Behavioral Health Care and Human Services in May 2026. This is one of the most respected independent accreditation standards in healthcare — it means our programs, our team, and our standards of care have been rigorously evaluated and verified by an outside body. Our NPI is 1245025501 and our Joint Commission HCO ID is 728650 — both publicly verifiable. NewCircle is also a member of the National Eating Disorders Association.

What makes NewCircle different from other eating disorder treatment centers?

A few things stand out. NewCircle is a privately owned, Joint Commission Gold Seal-accredited eating disorder treatment center — not a large corporate network. Our multidisciplinary team includes physicians, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed therapists, a registered dietitian, and a board-certified music therapist, all collaborating around each individual client’s care. Our facility is intentionally designed to feel warm and home-like rather than institutional — private suites, walk-in showers, and common spaces that were built for healing, not clinical efficiency.

Who leads the clinical and medical team at NewCircle?

Our team is one of the things we’re most proud of. Chris Willson, LPC leads as our Clinic Director, and Katie Reese, M.Ed., LPC directs our clinical mental health programming. Medical care is overseen by Tracey Jones, MD, our Medical Director, with additional support from nurse practitioners Kayla King, MSN-Ed, APRN, PMHNP-BC and Amy Henry, DNP, CRNP, AGPCNP-BC. Nutrition — which is central to eating disorder recovery — is led by Morgan Abercrombie, MS, RDN, LD, a registered and licensed dietitian who specializes in exactly this work.

What evidence-based treatment approaches does NewCircle use?

We draw from a range of approaches that have strong clinical evidence behind them, including DBT, CBT, CBT-E, ACT, EMDR for trauma, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients connect with their own reasons for change. For adolescents, Family-Based Treatment is central to how we work — recognizing that family is one of the most powerful resources a teenager has in recovery. We layer in somatic work that helps clients reconnect with their bodies, not just their thoughts. We also believe deeply in the healing power of creative expression, so art, music, movement, and ceramics are woven into our programming alongside structured nutrition support and supported meals. None of it is off-the-shelf. Every treatment plan is built around the specific person in front of us — their history, their diagnosis, their life. The modalities are the tools. The relationship is the work.

Does NewCircle treat co-occurring mental health conditions alongside eating disorders?

Yes. Eating disorders rarely occur in isolation. Many of our clients are also navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, or complex trauma. Our integrated team — including our Medical Director, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed therapists, and registered dietitians — provides coordinated care that addresses both the eating disorder and co-occurring conditions simultaneously. We use EMDR for trauma processing, DBT for emotional regulation, and collaborate closely with each client’s existing outside providers when appropriate to ensure continuity of care throughout treatment.

Is NewCircle an inclusive and affirming treatment environment?

It is, and this matters deeply to us. NewCircle is weight-inclusive, LGBTQ-affirming, and culturally competent — not as a policy, but because the people on our team live these values and some of them belong to these communities themselves. We have dedicated programming for LGBTQ and BIPOC communities because we know that identity shapes the experience of an eating disorder, and it should shape the experience of treatment too. Every client who walks through our doors deserves to feel genuinely safe — not just welcome on paper. Your identity, your body, and your story are not complications here. They’re part of what makes your care yours.

How do I refer a client to NewCircle?

NewCircle welcomes referrals from therapists, physicians, dietitians, school counselors, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers. Our National Outreach Director, Jennifer Luyster, and our admissions team work directly with referring providers to facilitate smooth transitions into care, communicate clinical updates during treatment, and coordinate aftercare planning for each client. Submit a referral or call us directly. →

Does NewCircle accept insurance?

Yes. We work with many major insurance providers because we believe access to care shouldn’t come down to what’s in your bank account. Our admissions team will verify your benefits, explain what your coverage actually means in plain language, and handle the coordination so you don’t have to. It takes about two minutes to check. Verify your insurance or let us take that off your plate. →

Do you accept clients from out of state?

We do. Specialized eating disorder treatment at this level isn’t available everywhere, and we know that for some families and individuals, traveling for the right care is worth it. For families who need or want to be close during residential treatment, NewCircle has furnished apartments available nearby — comfortable, private, and significantly more manageable than an extended hotel stay for out-of-state families.
